Sono state annunciate oggi pomeriggio le candidature agli Oscar 2016. Dopo la vittoria di tre Golden Globes, il favorito era Revenant – Redivivo di Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu che ha confermato i pronostici: il suo è il film con il maggior numero di candidature, ben 12. Subito dopo, più a sorpresa – ma nemmeno molto, essendo citato in molti premi della stagione “pre Oscar” è Mad Max: Fury Road con 10 nominations. Come miglior film, oltre a questi due titoli, gareggiano Brooklyn, Il caso Spotlight, Il ponte delle spie, La grande scommessa, Room e Sopravvissuto – The Martian.
E ci sarà anche l’Italia alla Notte degli Oscar, al Dolby Theatre di Hollywood, del prossimo 28 febbraio: dopo la vittoria ai Golden Globes, Ennio Morricone concorre anche alla più celebre statuetta del cinema sempre per le musiche di The Hateful Eight, nuovo film di Quentin Tarantino; infine, nomination anche per la canzone “Simple song number 3” di David Lang, inserita in Youth – La giovinezza di Paolo Sorrentino.
